How to Navigate Lead Preferences

To get to Lead Preferences: Configuration>CRM Setup>Preferences

 

Once you get to Preferences, you'll be able to set your lead preferences.  From here, you can require campaigns to be selected on leads, require the arrival date, and to make sure leads are created on one call closes.

In addition, you can set archive settings here.  The archive settings will determine when leads are archived, meaning they cannot be interacted with and the lead will be marked as 'archived.'  They can, however, be reopened.  You can choose to archive leads by close, arrival, or departure dates and then set when those leads will archive based on the date setting.  For example, if you set the archive settings to arrival date with an archive interval (days) of 1, the lead will archive 1 day after the set arrival date on the lead.
