From time to time there will be phone numbers that call into your company that, for whatever reason, you would like to have blocked. Thankfully, blocking a number is very easy to do in TRACK.
To start, you will need to make sure that you have Configuration access as a User in TRACK. To access Configuration, click on the Configuration gear icon in the upper right hand corner of TRACK Pulse.
From there you will be brought into the Configuration area. Under the CRM Setup tab, look to the far left column titled General. Click on Contact Exception.
Once on the Contact Exception view, you will be able to see a list of numbers currently blocked by your company. To add a blocked number, click on the green +Contact Exception button in the upper right hand corner and select type of 'phone' and enter the phone number you wish to block, a reason for the number being blocked (for example, “Spam Calls”), as well as click the checkbox 'Is Blocked'
Press the Save Exception button and whenever that particular phone number tries to call into your TRACK system, it will be disconnected automatically.
