Content blocks are blocks of information that you can populate in an email to a guest from the lead. An example of this can be a picture of one of your units with a brief description that your potential guest is interested in. We will go over how to set this up and how to use it.
How to add a Content Block
Navigate to Configurations, then go to the CRM Setup tab and finally under the General column click on Content Blocks.
Next click on the "+ Block" button to add a new block.
You will now be able to configure the new Content Block. You are able to name it, select "any brand" for all brands or select a specific brand, and to set it as active. Below is a content block that has information filled in:
How to use a Content Block
You are able to use content blocks within an email when replying to a contact in the lead. Navigate to a lead and select External Email. Select the brand that the content block is associated with. Then select the content block from the drop down list. Now it will populate in the email. Below is an example of using a content block:
Tips and Tricks
Content blocks provide useful information for agents to send to potential guests. One great use is encoding a hyperlink that they can click on to go to a specific unit they are interested in. Click on the Insert Link icon to add a new hyperlink. The "URL" is the link to the page you want to navigate the guest to, the "Text to display" is the text that is clickable, the title is the hyperlink title, and the "Target" is the action taken when clicking the link. You are able to further customize the content block by adding an image. Click on the Image icon to add a new image. The "Source" is the online link to the image, the "Image Description" is the description and the dimensions will determine the size of the image.
